From 6th April to 26th May, The Square Restaurant at Novotel Clarke Quay has specially curated a buffet spread for the seafood lovers. Conveniently located in Clark Quay, drop by for an evening with your family and friends and enjoy the Exquisite Seafood Gourmet happening only on Fridays and Saturdays.
Expect a section of cold seafood items like Irish & US Oysters, Clams, Bamboo Clams, Scallops, Alaskan King Crab, Baby Maroon Lobsters, Poached Prawns, Black Mussels and Stone Crab Claws.
One of the buffet items you should really look forward to is the Live Station featuring Wok Fried Slipper Lobster in 2 ways – Black Pepper or Salted Egg Sauce. I probably had 6-8 rounds of the salted egg yolk one because it was that good. The sauce was thick and so fragrant, which went so well with the deep fried slipper lobster.
Other must-haves here include their Signature Laksa and Chilli Crab. DIY your own laksa by choosing the type of noodles and ingredients you would like, and customise how spicy you would like your bowl of laksa to be.
Satisfy your tummies with the wide array of sweet desserts at The Square like the Chocolate Fondue, Durian Pengat, Ice Kachang, Ice Cream, Cakes and Pastries. Some of the desserts I recommend trying is the green tea ice cream and if you have a sweet tooth, do give the peanut butter tart a go. If you’re feeling adventurous, you may even try their Wasabi Cake.
