Ninja Bowl @ Duxton – 5 New Creations That Will Bowl You Over!

Here we go again. Ninja Bowl has launched its new menu for 2017 (Thinking of 2016?). Although half the year has passed, it’s never too late to re-examine and update your menu. If you’re looking for a colourful meal to perk up your week, look no further! Ninja Bowl presents a refreshed menu with 5 latest dishes to satisfy both your eyes and palate.

For duck lovers, check out the Kamo ($18), a bowlful of Pan-seared duck breast, shiso chimichurri, charred carrots, onsen egg, asparagus & edamame, purple slaw. Most of their bowls include an onsen egg so break well and mix. We loved how the duck was done – not too raw, just nice.

One of our favourites was the Kabuki ($16). We loved the well-glazed and tender smoked chicken leg confit, setting it apart from the rest of the delicious bowls.
And what’s not love when its complemented with an onsen egg, cherry tomatoes, sauteed zucchinis and sauteed mushrooms?

Craving for beef instead? Another favourite is the Ushi ($22) served with grassfed Australian tenderloin steak, truffle butter leek, baby corn, onsen egg, sauteed mushrooms, cherry tomatoes.
The photogenic Torinosu ($18)  will excite all your senses at once, with their crispy shrimp & vegetable kakiage, onsen egg, cherry tomatoes and sauteed mushrooms. The portion might be too much for two, so grab a few friends to share!

After savouring a Ninja Bowl, we definitely saved (or squeezed) space for the desserts. Their latest creation Merry Melon ($19) is refreshing, sweet yet savory at the same time!

Served with Brioche french toast, fresh rock melon, watermelon, parma ham chips, mascarpone cheese, Japanese rock melon ice-cream, chopped almonds, crumble and thyme shiso infused honey drizzle.

Ninja Bowl’s creation is definitely worth a try for all dessert lovers, but do remember to share the joy as it might be too big a portion for one!
