Located at Tanjong Katong, B4R dishes out western and indian cuisines for the easties (pronounced as Bar for easy reference). B4R is a great place for to chill with your friends with an extensive menu of both food and booze. As a bonus, it even has an iDarts station – the perfect cherry on top for a day or night out with your friends.
The Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings ($10) was indeed a crowd favourite. Crispy on the outside yet tender and juicy on the inside. The garlic and parmesan taste wasn’t overpowering and had just the right balance.
If you’re an avid fan of Singapore’s famous chilli crab, the Chilli Crab Pasta ($17) would be a good pick for you. Though it was spicy, it was not overwhelming and left us all wanting more. With the amount of crab meat given, it certainly justified the slightly higher price.
Can’t decide between Western and Indian? Give the Tandoori Chicken Pizza ($15) a go! Sweet yet slightly spicy, this dish would be great to share amongst friends.
One of my favourite dishes served was the Chili Prawn ($15). Though it was easily one of the spiciest dishes, it was highly addictive. The prawns were fried slightly before it was combined with the sauce, giving the prawns a good crunch too!
The Mutton Briyani ($14) was anything but normal. Instead of pouring curry over the briyani, the curry was incorporated into the rice itself. This gave the rice a very aromatic curry fragrance while ensuring that the rice did not dry up.
Overall, B4R is a must-try for Indian food lovers. If you’re looking for a place to eat, drink and hang out with your friends during the weekends, give B4R a visit! B4R plays your favouirte English Premier League soccer matches on weekends too, so order a tower or two and unwind.
